Out on a Limb...

So I submitted my proposal to our director of curriculum and instruction, Dr. Kovack, last month but I received no response. As a member of our districts District Improvement Committee, I was able to introduce myself and ask if she had received my proposal. She thought for a moment and then seemed enthusiastic about what she had read. She told me she was interested in what it said and was looking forward to hearing more about it. She would look at her calendar and schedule time for me late January/early February to discuss it further. The beginning of the second semester is always busy which I understand. So now my focus is on prepping for my presentation so that it leads to a district innovation next fall. Either way, it's a win as I drew attention to my goal to improve the district.

My innovation plan, failures and successes.

So, my first innovation plan to implement e-Portfolios within my school district crashed and burned. Not because it was a bad idea, my plan simply hit a stone wall. My assumption that CTE would be the
